KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Reserve Tye'sha Fluker scored 10 points and TashaButts and reserve Shanna Zolman each had nine, helping No. 5 Tennessee to a66-42 win over Old Dominion on Sunday.

The victory moved Tennessee coach Pat Summitt into third place for careervictories in college basketball with 831, moving past retired Mount St. Mary'scoach Jim Phelan. Summitt trails Dean Smith (879) and Adolph Rupp (876).

Shyra Ely and Ashley Robinson added eight points apiece for the Lady Vols(10-1), who had little trouble earning their eighth straight win over OldDominion (6-5).

Tennessee led nearly the entire game and pulled away with a 9-4 run at thestart of the second half.

The Lady Monarchs got as close as 13 with 13:50 remaining, after ShareeseGrant had two layups, but Tennessee responded with a 6-0 run.

Robinson got a putback, and Zolman scored off a steal by Butts. Then LoreeMoore grabbed a rebound and rushed to the basket, bouncing the ball to Butts togive her an easy layup.

The Lady Monarchs shot just 16-of-57 from the floor and had 22 turnovers.Tennessee had a better day shooting, but neither team could get to the foulline, combining for 11-of-24 free-throw shooting.

Ely, Tennessee's leading scorer, had all of her points in the first half andshot just 3-for-11 from the field.

The Lady Monarchs were led in scoring by Monique Coker with 10 points andLawona Davis had nine. Grant, who came in averaging a team-high 17.6 points,was held to eight.

The Lady Vols took the lead at 8-7 and never let it go. Old Dominion got asclose as three midway through the first half, but poor shooting prevented theLady Monarchs from sustaining a rally.

Tennessee went ahead by nine with 4:05 left before halftime after Robinson'slayup.

Davis converted a three-point play to cut it to 25-19 for Old Dominion, butthe Lady Vols finished the first half with a 7-1 run to go ahead 32-20.
