NORFOLK, VA - The Old Dominion women's sailing team finished the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship 8th with 134 points, at the ODU Sailing Center. Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) and Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA) teamed up for 52 points in A division, while Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Rachel Wright (Rochester, NY) finished with 82 points in B division.
The Monarchs finished 13th at the ACC Dinghy regatta at the NY Maritime in Bronx, NY with 125 points. A division, with Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) finished with 65 points in A division. Charles Higgins (Arlington, TX), Rebecca Legge (Yorktown, VA) and Michael Smith (Newport News, VA) finished with 60 points in B division. Anna Tunnicliffe will be competing in the Intercollegiate Sailing Association's Women's Singlehanded event November 21-23 at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL.
