NORFOLK, VA - The Old Dominion women's sailing team is currently 8th in the Women's Atlantic Coast Championships after the first day at the ODU Sailing Center with 112 points. Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) and Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA) have 52 points in A division, while Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Rachel Wright (Rochester, NY) have 60 points in B division.
In the ACC Dinghy competition at the NY Maritime in the Bronx, NY, ODU is currently 13th with 125 points. Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) led the Monarchs to 13th in A division. ODU's B division, with Charles Higgins (Arlington, TX), Rebecca Legge (Yorktown, VA) and Michael Smith (Newport News, VA) is currently 12th with 60 points. Both regattas conclude on Sunday.
