RICHMOND, VA-The pairings are set for the semi-final round of the 2003 CAA Men's Soccer Championships for Friday night. Second seeded Old DominionUniversity (14-2-1/6-2-1), ranked seventh in SOCCER AMERICA, eighth in SOCCER TIMES, 13th by the NSCAA(coaches), and 14 in COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS willplay third seeded George Mason (10-5-6/4-4-1) at 8 p.m. at the Sports BackersStadium in Richmond, VA. The Patriots defeated UNC Wilmington on penalty kicksTuesday night.

In the other bracket top-seeded VCU (14-4/8-1) will host fourth seeded JamesMadison (11-6-2/4-3-2)at 5:30 p.m.. JMU defeated W&M, 2-0 Tuesday night in the quarterfinals. VCU ranks eighth in the NSCAA(coaches), 11th by COLLEGE SOCCERNEWS and SOCCER AMERICA and, 20th by SOCCER TIMES.

George Mason defeated ODU back on Nov. 2 in Fairfax, VA., 1-0. The Monarchsdefeated VCU, 2-1 on Oct. 12th. The Rams were the first team to score a goal on ODUafter nine straight shutouts. JMU defeated ODU on Oct. 31, 3-2 in Harrisonburg, VA. The weekend, the Monarchs lost to both GMU and JMU they also lost for the rest of the season defensive standouts Trevor McEachron (Woodbridge, VA.) Ian Kaila (Fredericksburg, VA.) with ACL injuries.

The CAA Championship match will be Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. Ticket pricesare $7 for adults, $5 for students and there is a $12.00 tournament pass.
