NORFOLK, VA - Brian Cvilikas' (Highlands Ranch, CO) hat trick lifted the second-ranked Old Dominion men's soccer team to their 13th consecutive victory, defeating Towson 3-0 Friday night. The 13-0 start for the Monarchs is a new all-time school record. Head Coach Alan Dawson also won his 200th career collegiate game. ODU improves to 13-0 and 5-0 in Colonial Athletic Association play while Towson falls to 1-10-3, with a 1-3-2 CAA record.

Brian Cvilikas scored his first goal of the game 10 minutes into the first half, getting the ball past Towson's goalkeeper Zak Thompson. Cvilikas next struck in the second half, 52 minutes into the game, off an assist from Kevin McMenamin (West Springfield, MA). Cvilikas' final goal game 77 minutes into the game, off an assist by Attila Vendegh (Bratislava, Slovakia). Monarch goalkeeper Sam Cameron (Raleigh, NC) saved 4 shots to record his 10th shutout of the season, and the team's 11th shutout. Zak Thompson also saved 4 shots and allowed three goals in the game.

ODU next plays Saturday, October 25 against Delaware, in their last home game of the season. Game time is at 7:00 PM. Before the game begins, five graduating seniors will be honored in a brief presentation.
