NORFOLK, VA - The Old Dominion Sailing Team finished 6th overall of the Navy Fall Women's Intersectional with 286 points. The event took place in Annapolis, MD. In A division, Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) and Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA) won the A division with 48 points. ODU finished 11th in B division with 134 points, with Cara DiSanti (Seacliff, NY) and Rachel Wright (Rochester, NY) participating. In C division, ODU finished 7th with 104 points with Maureen Castruccio skippering (Pleasanton, CA).
In the MAISA Men's Singlehanded Championship at King's Point, NY, Charles Higgins (Arlington, TX) finished 12th overall with 174 points, David Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) finished 13th with 183 points and Bill Berg (Longwood, FL) finished 16th with 223 points. At the Hobart/Wm Smith Fall Intersectional, ODU finished 5th with 99 points. In A division, Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Michael Smith (Newport News, VA) teamed up for 36 points. In B division, Adam Bennett (Stony Brook, NY), Rebecca Legge (Yorktown, VA) and Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) had 33 points.
