NORFOLK, VA - The Old Dominion Women's Soccer team (1-2-1) tied the University of Tulsa (3-1-1) 1-1 Friday night at the Fayetteville Athletic Club Classic tournament in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Tulsa scored first 11:50 into the game, with a goal by Staci Morgan, with an assist by Jamie German. The Lady Monarchs answered back almost six minutes later, with an unassisted goal by Ashley Kramer (Jefferson Hills, PA). For the game, ODU out-shot Tulsa 16-13. Goalkeeper Stephanie Miller (Plymouth Meeting, PA) made five saves in the effort.
Both teams remained scoreless in the second half and both overtime periods.
ODU returns to action Sunday, Sept. 14, against Arkansas at 2:30 PM (CST). Tulsa takes on William and Mary at 12:00 PM (CST).
