The Old Dominion women's sailing team finished fourth at the 24th annual Joseph R. Duplin Trophy Intersectional hosted by Tuft's University. The top ranked Lady Monarchs compiled 148 points in the two-day regatta.
St. Mary's finished the first day of action on top of the leaderboard on Saturday and continued to pace the 14-team field through Sunday to take the win. ODU was right behind the winners after Saturday but fell back to fourth after 13 races on day two.
Sophomore Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) skippered the A division boat along with crew member Anna Cobb (Mechanicsville, VA) to a fourth place showing while skipper Debbie Capozzi (Bayport, NY) and crew Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) finished fourth in the B division.
St. Mary's totalled 102 points while Dartmouth and Tufts finished right behind them with 128 and 135 points respectively.
