FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) -- Jesse Young had 19 points and 11 rebounds and JonLarranaga added 13 points in their final home game as seniors to lead GeorgeMason to a 69-52 victory over Old Dominion Monday night.
Larranaga added six rebounds and four assists for the Patriots (15-11, 10-7Colonial Athletic Association).
Rasheed Wright scored 11 points to lead the Monarchs (11-14, 8-9), who losttheir third in a row.
George Mason took control early, shooting 54 percent on its way to a 41-26halftime lead, and never looked back.ODU shot .313 (20-64) from the floor.
Kiah Thomas aded nine points, while freshman Alex Loughton scored eight, had threesteals with six rebounds. Ricardo Marsh scored only four points, his lowest totalsince the East Carolina game of last season.
Larranaga, son of Patriots coach Jim Larranaga, is six rebounds shy ofbecoming the third player in school history to record 800 points, 200 assists,100 steals and 500 rebounds in a career.
The Monarchs host Hofstra in the final home game for seniors Wright and Marshon Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
