NORFOLK, VA. -- Old Dominion University junior soccer forward Attila Vendegh (Bratslavia, Slovakia) has been named to the first team Verizon Academic All-American All-District III squad. Vendegh who leads the CAA in scoring with 14 goals and 34 points carries a 3.73 Grade point average in international business.
Vendegh, who has scored seven goals in his last five matches currently ranks 12thnationally in scoring and has 44 career goals in three seasons. The CAA leading Monarchs(9-6-1/ 6-1-1) travel to William & Mary on Saturday night.
