Global Spectrum & ODU To Host Lunch For Constant Center Construction Workers

EVENT: ARENA OPERATORS GLOBAL SPECTRUM AND ODU TO HOST LUNCH FOR
CONSTANT CENTER CONSTRUCTION WORKERS

DATE: Wednesday September 4th, 2002 at noon

PLACE: Ted Constant Convocation Center, 4320 Hampton Blvd. Norfolk, VA

DETAILS: Global Spectrum and ODU are hosting an exclusive lunch outside of the new TedConstant Convocation Center to reward the in excess of 150 construction workers who participatedin the building of the Center. The food is being donated by Leon Dickey, part of the Southeast, Virginia andNortheast, North Carolina McDonald's restaurant owners and operators.

ODU Basketball coaches; Blaine Taylor and Wendy Larry along with Big Blue will serve lunch. Global Spectrum andOld Dominion University are eternally grateful to the workers for their unwavering effort and unequaled performance.The Constant Center's construction is on schedule and promises to be one of the elite sport and entertainmentcenters in the state of Virginia.

The Ted Constant Convocation Center will seat 8,600 and is scheduled to open October 25th.The center will be the new home of the Women's and Men's Monarch Basketball programs, as well as concerts,family shows and other attractions for the Norfolk, Hampton Roads region.

Global Spectrum, which manages 32 other arenas, stadiums, baseball parks and ice rink facilities throughoutthe U.S. and Canada, is part of the Comcast-Spectacor family of companies.
