Monarchs Host High Point On Monday Night

Norfolk, VA-The Old Dominion men's soccer team will play host to High Point University on Monday night at 7 p.m. The Monarchs are coming off of their first win of the season, defeating Syracuse 3-2 in overtime for the Stihl Classic title.

High Point, who will be taking on Old Dominion for the first time ever, currently sports a 2-0 record with wins over Marshall and UNC-Wilmington. The Panthers are led by senior Damon Ming, who has scored three of High Point's four goals this season.

The Monarchs enter tonight's contest with a 1-3 record. All four of ODU's games have been decided by one goal, and three of those games have gone into overtime. Old Dominion is led by sophomore forward Attila Vendegh, who currently leads the CAA in scoring with seven goals and one assist
