Norfolk, Va. -- 16th-ranked Old Dominion University topped CAA foe American, 15-7, Sunday afternoon at Foreman Field on the Old Dominion campus. With the victory, the Lady Monarchs improve to 5-3 overall (2-1 CAA). The Eagles fall to 3-3 overall (0-1 CAA).
Sophomore Suzanne Wosczyna (Phoenixville, Pa.) led the way forthe winners with five goals. It is Wosczyna's third game of nettingfive goals. Eight different Lady Monarchs broke into the scoringcolumn. Sophomore Marlaine Smith (Gaithersburg, Md.) followed withthree goals.
Junior Holly Deland led American with a pair of goals.
