Norfolk, Va. -- 16th-ranked Old Dominion University lost a slim 13-8contest to top-ranked and defending national champion MarylandSaturday afternoon at Foreman Field on the Old Dominion campus. Withthe loss, the Lady Monarchs fall to 4-3 overall (1-1 CAA). TheTerrapins stand at 7-0 overall/3-0 ACC.
Senior Dana Wisniewski (Collegeville, Pa.) led the way for theLady Monarchs with five goals on the afternoon, including fourconsecutive to start the second half and keep her team withinstriking distance. Sophomore Suzanne Wosczyna (Phoenixville, Pa.)added two goals and an assist.
Senior Allison Comito (Glen Head, NY) led Maryland with fourgoals and an assist while two-time Player of the Year Jen Adams(Brighton, South Australia) added two goals and four assists.
