PHILADELPHIA (Mar. 18) -- Jennifer Heister (Fayetteville, NY.) and Suzanne Woscyna (Phoenixville, Pa.) scored three goals each to lead Old Dominion to a 10-8 victory in women's lacrosse Sunday afternoon. The Lady Monarchs, ranked 16th nationally are 3-2, while Temple drops to 2-2.
Old Dominion built an 8-3 halftime lead, but the Owls mounted a furious comeback with five second half goals led by Deanna Radcliffe, who scored two and assisted on another. But the Lady Monarchs one-two combination of Heister and Woscyna scored a goal each in the second half to secure the win.
Old Dominion returns to action on Thursday when they host George Mason at 4 p.m.
