Fairfax, Va. -- The Old Dominion wrestling team finished in fourth place and junior Jeff Rusak took the title at 174 in the Virginia Intercollegiate Championships.
The University of Virginia won the championship, followed by GeorgeMason, James Madison, and Old Dominion.
Rusak (Reading, PA) finished first by virtue of a 3-0 record on the dayand an 11-6 decision over Longwood's Ben Summerlin in the championshipround. Rusak's record improves to 22-3 on the year.
Also faring well were Matt Epps (Mechanicsville, VA), Jesse Pearce(Norfolk, VA), Matt Small, and Derrell Lorthridge (Wilmington, DE).Small finished second at 184 while Epps, Pearce and Lorthridge allfinished in fourth place in their respective weight classes.
