LEXINGTON, Va. (Nov. 11) -- Old Dominion started off the 2000-01 season today atthe VMI tournament in Lexington, Virginia. Wrestling individually, OldDominion finished with three place winners.
Freshman Will Carroll (Bethany Beach, DE) took first place at 141 witha record of 4-0. Joining Carroll as top finishers were freshman FrankStillo (Phillipsburg, NJ), who finished fourth, and Derrell Lorthridge(Wilmington, DE), who took third in the heavyweight division.
Old Dominion will return to action next weekend, when they host theOld Dominion Invitational on November 19.
