ODU Athletics is nothing with our amazing families, fans, and alumni! Novemeber 23rd will be a day of thank yous for not only our seniors but our amazing fans of Monarch Nation! The support our fans show throughout the season this year won't go unnoticed. Stay tuned for special prizes and giveaways throughout the game. All season ticket holders will have the opportunity to claim 4 complimentary tickets to share an ODU Gameday with friends and family. Help us grow our family! Season ticket holders will receive communications beginning July 10 on how to claim their additional tickets.
Senior Day
Join us as we celebrate our football monarchs for senior day. Recognitions will occure during pregame. Be sure to get to your seats early to celebrate some of your favorite monarchs as they wrap up their final season at S.B Ballard Stadium on Kornblau Field!
Oyster Bowl
celebrate the 74th Annual Oyster Bowl this season! This Long tradtion is brought to you by the Chesapeake based Khedive Temple of Shriners International. The Oyster Bowl was played at ODU’s stadium from 1946-1995. ODU revived the Oyster Bowl in 2011 when the Monarchs defeated James Madison. For every ticket purchased, ODU will donate $1 back towards Shriners.
Stars of Honor
ODU Athletics is happy to partner with Stars of Honor for the 3rd year! Through this partnership, Stars of Honor and ODU Athletics strives to recognize the outstanding achievements of our Hampton Road’s youth. The Stars of Honor award was created to recognize the nations students for their outstanding achievements both inside and outside the classroom, and to encourage students throughout the U.S. to strive for greatness and become leaders in our communities. This year winners from the local elementary schools in Hampton Roads will be selected to attend the game and be recognized for their achievements during the game.
