Sarah Walker joined Old Dominion in 2017 as an Athletic Academic Advisor for the football, field hockey, and women’s lacrosse teams at Old Dominion.
Walker joined Old Dominion from the University of Louisville where she served as an Assistant Academic Counselor. There, she oversaw day-to-day operations of the academic center, including study hall sessions and other tutoring appointments. Additionally, she counseled student-athletes on study and time management skills, while ensuring students were maintaining good academic progress.

Prior to Louisville, Walker interned at Florida International as a student-athlete development intern. There she planned and established professional development workshops and community service events for student-athletes. She also administered campus tours for prospective athletes.
Walker graduated from the University of Miami (Fla.) with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration and received her master’s from Louisville in Higher Education Administration.
