Ethan Spencer joined the ODU Swimming program as an assistant coach in August of 2024.
Spencer comes to Old Dominion after serving as an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast for the 2023-24 season.
Prior to that Spencer was a member and team captain of the swim team at Depauw University, where he earned degrees in communications and English literature.
Over the last three years he has developed a vast amount of experience coaching at swim camps around the country, including at Texas A&M and the University of Texas.
