Eric Bohannon joined ODU in 2010, and currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications.
Bohannon is the primary contact for football, sailing and men’s/women’s swimming. He is, among other things, responsible for maintaining ODUSports.com, producing online and social media content, handling media requests and preparing media guides.
Born in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, Eric is an alumnus of Mansfield University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in communications with an emphasis in broadcasting and journalism in 2008.
Before joining the ODU staff, Bohannon was a Sport Information Intern at Appalachian State for two years.
Bohannon played football at Mansfield for three years before the program was discontinued at the end of the 2006 season. He spent his final year at Mansfield working in the sports information office.
