Dave Strickland, a 1994 graduate of Old Dominion University, is the lead play-by-play announcer for ODU volleyball on ESPN+. He also announced men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey and lacrosse.
In addition to his play-by-play Dave serves as the Public Address Announcer spotter for ODU football and provides talent statistics for men’s and women’s basketball.
Dave is married to Jenn and has three daughters Shelby, Savannah and Emily. He is also a middle school teacher for Norfolk Public Schools.
