Cambrie Cooke joined the ODU Athletic Training staff in August 2023. She will work with ODU’s men’s soccer and women’s tennis teams.
Cooke was most recently at UNC Wilmington, where she worked with the Seahawk baseball and soccer programs while completing her Masters in Athletic Training degree. She worked at two high schools in North Carolina, Emsley A. Laney in Wilmington and North Brunswick in Leland, from January to May 2022 and also spent the summer of 2022 with the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League.
Cambrie holds BOC and CPR/AED certifications and has completed Green Zone and QPR Suicide Prevention training.
A 2020 graduate from McDaniel College with a bachelor’s in kinesiology, she was a member of the Green Terror swim team and competed in the backstroke and individual medley. She was a member of the Kinesiology Club, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the Alphi Phi Omega National Service Fraternity at McDaniel and the Graduate Athletic Training Association at UNCW.
