Brooke Pilkington joined the ODU women’s tennis staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach prior to the 2021-22 season. Pilkington was a four-time Virginia state champ in high school and three-time state player of the year. During her collegiate career, she was named the CAA Freshman of the Year at Delaware. After transferring to Old Dominion, Pilkington was named the C-USA Newcomer of the Year, was an All-Conference USA honoree for singles and doubles, as well as the ITA Senior Player of the Year for the entire Atlantic region. During her senior season, Pilkington helped lead the Monarchs to their first ever Conference USA championship, as well as the program’s first ever team win in the NCAA Tournament.

2020-21 (at Old Dominion): Garnered the ITA Senior Player of the Year for the Atlantic region … Never lost a home match during her entire collegiate career … Compiled an 8-3 record in doubles and a 7-5 mark in singles … Undefeated in singles at the C-USA Championships … Earned a C-USA Commissioner’s Medal for work in the classroom … Named to Conference USA Honor Roll.

2019-20 (at Old Dominion): Selected to compete in doubles for the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. … Compiled a 7-4 record in singles for the spring.

2018-19 (at Old Dominion): Conference USA Newcomer of the Year … First Team All-Conference USA for doubles and Second Team All-League for singles … Finished the year nationally ranked No. 73 (by the ITA) in doubles with teammate Holly Hutchinson … First Team All-State for doubles and Second Team All-State for singles … Named C-USA Athlete of the Week (2/27) ... In doubles, downed the No. 44, 46 and 82 nationally ranked tandems ... Advanced to the ITA Regional Semifinals for Doubles.

2017-18 (at Delaware): Went 15-3 playing No. 1 singles for the Blue Hens… Went 30-6 in two seasons while playing the No. 1 singles slot.
 
2016-17 (at Delaware): CAA Rookie of the Year… CAA Singles First Team… ITA Atlantic Region Singles (Round of 32) & Doubles (Round of 32) Participant… CAA Academic Honor Roll… Ranked fourth in all-time season singles wins with a record of 24-9.
 
PREP: Attended Cape Henry Collegiate School… Four-time Virginia State Champion… Three-time State Player of the Year… Three-time Conference Player of the Year… First student-athlete in school history to earn State Player of the Year accolades… Posted an overall No. 1 singles mark of 86-4 at CHCS.
