Brendan Riggs joined the Old Dominion Athletics Department in September of 2025 as an assistant athletics equipment manager.
He comes to ODU after spending two seasons at Florida Atlantic. He was a graduate assistant for the Owls men's basketball team for the 2023-24 season and was named the director of basketball operations for the 2024-25 campaign.
The St. Petersburg, Florida native spent four years at Bethany College in West Virginia. He graduated from Bethany with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Communication. During his men's basketball career at Bethany, he appeared in a total of 62 games in his career.
He graduated from Canterbury School of Florida and was a Pinellas County All-Star.
