Brandon Griffin is in his first season as a graduate assistant coaching with the defensive line.
Griffin comes to ODU after spending the 2020 season coaching the safeties at Gannon (Pa.) and spent the 2019-20 at Mississippi State as an intern.
A native of Baltimore, Griffin played at Morgan State and in 2017 was the teams fifth leading tackler with 34 tackles, 3.5 tackle for loss, a sack and an interception.
Griffin graduated from Morgan State in 2018 with a degree in business administration.
