Alyshia Allison was named Old Dominion University’s Athletics - Assistant AD for Marketing and Promtions in May 2024. Previously, she served as the Director of Marketing.
Alyshia manages various marketing strategies and promotional initiatives for all 18 revenue and non-revenue sports campus-wide. She also serves as the primary point of contact for all athletic marketing needs and is a liaison for athletic band. She oversees ODU Cheer and Dynasty Dance.
Day-to-day she coordinates and supervises all in-game marketing tasks, halftime entertainment, and special event promotions. Alyshia oversees the fulfillment of social media and in-game sponsorship activation. She focuses on developing strategies that improve fan attendance and engagement contributing to maximizing the overall game-day fan experience.
Prior to her current position as Assistant AD for Markeitng and Promotions, Allison started as an Assistant Marketing Coordinator for ODU in 2019 and earned her Master of Science degree in Sport Management in May 2021.
Alyshia is a 2019 graduate of Campbell University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with minors in Business Management and Marketing. During her time at Campbell University she was a part of the Women's Basketball Team.
