Aidan Leak joined the Old Dominion women's soccer coaching staff this past summer from Mercer as an assistant coach. He will work with the Monarchs' goalkeepers.
Leak joined the Mercer men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach in the Summer of 2025. Leak is a former JUCO All-American and recently finished a 4-year career as a goalkeeper. He coached a third team all-conference player last year ended the season as the second ranked team in the SoCon.
Leak joins the Bears' coaching staff after a successful two seasons at Eckerd. As a Triton, Leak started in 27 matches where he logged over 2,400 minutes. Over his two seasons at Eckerd, Leak faced 288 shots and maintained a 1.90 GAA.
Before Eckerd, Leak shined at Tyler Junior College. As a freshman (2021), Leak's 9 clean sheets, 56 saves, and 0.43 GAA earned him NJCAA Division I Third Team All-America honors.
Leak finished his career with 168 total saves, 22 clean sheets and a 1.27 GAA across all levels of competition.
Prior to graduating, Leak earned several honors/awards:
