2023: Appeared and started in 20 matches for the Monarchs logging 1,148 minutes for the season  ...  She totaled four points for the year, scoring a goal in the Monarchs win over Campbell and having assists in wins over Richmond and Marshall…Named to Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament team.

2022: Appeared in 19 matches, making nine starts … Tallied one goal against American and picked up one assist in the Sun Belt Tournament final against JMU … Recorded 16 shots and four shots on goal … Named to the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament team.

High school: Universidad del Fútbol y Ciencias del Deporte, Member of the Mexican National Team U15, U17, U20 along with CF Pachuca. Played with several Mexican National Team standouts including Charlyn Corral, Mónica Ocampo, Karla Nieto.

Personal: Daughter of Ernesto Balcazar and Rocio Algarin. Has one brother who played for TEC de Monterrey Campus CEM. Enjoy going to movies with Marvel movies being her favorite.  Majoring in sports management.

Why I chose ODU: I choose ODU because of the culture they have and because of the work ethic they have. The women’s soccer program has been incredible for the last years.
