Kaylen Nelson Season 2021-22

2022-23 (SO): Played in 30 games with a total of 66 points, 22 rebounds and five steals for the season…Had a season high 11 points against Coastal Carolina where she shot 2-for-3 from the three-point line…Shot .346 from the field and .667 from the free-throw line.

2021-22 (FR): Saw action in 30 games averaging 1.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game…Scored a season high five points at Florida International, while hauling in a season-best five rebounds in the season opener against South Carolina State…Played 16 minutes against Bowie St., scoring four points while shooting 1-for-5 from the floor and 2-for-2 at the free-throw line. Added two rebounds and a steal to her totals.

PREP: An all-state honoree as a senior…Averaged 13.4 points and 5.9 rebounds in her final season and collected First Team All-World honors…Led Union to a second-consecutive appearance in the state tournament, where it narrowly fell to the eventual state champions in the semifinals…Earned Second Team All-World honors and placed on the All-Frontier Conference Team as a junior after averaging 12.8 points per game.
