Ryan Hardie joined the Old Dominion sports performance staff in May of 2019 after previously spending the offseason with the University of Georgia’s football strength & conditioning staff as an intern.
From 2016-2018 Ryan Hardie was the head strength & conditioning coach as well as the linebacker coach for Malone University (D-II).
In 2015, he worked as a sports performance intern for the Ohio State University football team. Hardie directly supported all training and recovery protocols for OSU’s Fiesta Bowl and Co-East Division Big Ten Championship Team.
In 2014, he served as the strength & conditioning coordinator at Walsh University (D-II) after previously assisting from 2011-2013.
He holds a Master's of business administration degree and a Bachelor's of science degree in multi-sge physical education from Walsh University where he played football. Hardie is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He is also a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. Ryan and his wife Amber reside in Norfolk.
