Megan joined the ODU staff in 2012 and is currently an assistant athletic trainer.
She is responsible for overseeing the graduate assistant athletic trainer that covers women’s soccer, as well as ensuring all ODU coaches are First Aid/CPR/AED certified. Her primary sport coverage is women’s basketball.
Prior to working at Old Dominion, Megan was the Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of North Carolina Asheville (2009-2012) and the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of North Carolina Pembroke (2007-2009).
Megan currently has several professional certifications, including the Board of Certification, the Virginia Board of Medicine, the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners, and the American Red Cross. She also has several organization memberships, including the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Mid-Atlantic Trainers’ Association, and the Virginia/North Carolina/Western Athletic Trainers’ Association.
Born in Fayetteville, NC., Megan graduated from Western Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She is also an alum of the University of North Carolina Pembroke where she earned a Master of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in sports administration in 2009.
