Allison Halsey became the newest member of the Old Dominion women's basketball staff when she was announced as the Lady Monarchs' Director of Women's Basketball Operations in June of 2008. In her role, Halsey is responsible for coordinating the team's travel and community service projects, as well as assisting with scouting duties and scheduling.
Halsey joins the Lady Monarchs after serving as an Associate Project Director and Project Coordinator with Fallon Medica, LLC in New Jersey. In her positions, Halsey coordinated all logistical details for continuing medical educations programs nationwide and communicated with top doctors, medical societies, and sales representatives in determining project guidelines, timelines, and objectives.
A 2002 cum laude graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, with a degree in business, Halsey was a four-time member of the Northeast Ten Conference Academic Team. She was also of member of Pi Gamma Mu - an international honor society in social science, Omicron Delta Epsilon - an economic honor society, and Delta Epsilon Sigma - a national scholastic honor society.
An active member of the community, Halsey has participated with Relay for Life, the ALS Walk, and the Arthritis Foundation. She was also a member of the Monmouth Women's Basketball League and the Red Bank YMCA Women's Basketball League.
A native of Middletown, New Jersey, Halsey currently resides in Norfolk.
