2016-17 (REDSHIRT SENIOR): Selected in the 2nd round in the WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics ... Became the 12th Lady Monarch to be selected in the WNBA Draft ... An Honorable Mention AP All-American ... Named the Conference USA Player of the Year, the first ODU player to be named conference player of the year since Lucienne Berthieu in 2002 ... An All-C-USA First Team selection for the third straight year ... The nation's second-leading scorer at 26.0 points per game ... The 26.0 average broke Anne Donovan's school record of 25.1, which stood since the 1980-81 season ... Ranks fifth on the ODU all-time scoring list with 2,151 career points ... Became just the sixth Lady Monarch to score 2,000 career points and only the third to score 2,000 in her first three seasons at ODU ... Broke school records for career 30+ and 40+ scoring games, totaling 12 games of 30+ during the 2016-17 season brining her career mark to 18 ... Scored 40+ twice, including a Ted Constant Center Record 43 in the win over Marshall, bringing her career total of 40+ games to three ... 2015-16 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): Simms repeated as a Conference USA All-Conference First Team, VaSID All-State First Team and C-USA All-Tournament Team selection, as the two-time C-USA Player of the Week finished the season as the league’s overall (21.4) and conference (22.2) scoring leader ... She also stuffed the stat sheet with 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per outing ... She poured in double-digits 29 times this season and was the only player in C-USA to notch 30-plus points five times ... She also holds the conference top scoring mark for the season after a 39-point onslaught at UTSA ... The standout guard also set a new ODU single-game record for free-throws made and attempted when she went 18-for-21 from the free-throw line at UTSA ... Simms made history against FIU, becoming just the sixth Old Dominion women’s bas­ketball player to score 1,000 points in two years, scoring 1,320 points to sit in second behind Anne Donovan (1,527) ... She also became the 32nd Lady Monarch to reach 1,000 career points and currently has 1,345 career points, 22nd in ODU history.

2014-15 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE):
Simms garnered Conference USA Newcomer of the Year, First Team All Conference USA and All C-USA Tournament Team accolades, while being named to the VaSID All-State First Team ... Simms scored 45 points in a win at FIU this season, which tied her for No. 1 in the NCAA for the season at the time and placed her second in Lady Monarch history ... Appeared in all 34 possible games in which she started in 33 ... She was named MVP of 2014 South Point Holiday Hoops Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada ... The Accokeek, Maryland-native led Old Dominion in scoring and rebounding this year, averaging 19.3 points a game (35th in NCAA and 2nd in C-USA) and 8.1 rebounds a contest ... Jennie scored 20 or more points in a total of 15 games and netted double-figures in 31 of 34 possible contests ... Simms hauled down 14 rebounds on three different occasions in 2014-15, while dishing out six assists twice ... For the season, she tallied 657 points, 274 rebounds, 81 assists, 39 steals and 24 blocks.

2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Was named the NAACP’s Female Athlete of the Year for ODU ... Redshirted due to NCAA transfer rules.

AT WEST VIRGINIA: Simms averaged 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in eight games her freshman season at West Virginia University in 2012-13 ... She had 11 points against LSU and South Carolina Upstate.

PREP: Earned first team all-conference honors by averaging 14 points and 12 rebounds per game her senior year at Riverdale Baptist ... Simms led her squad to a 38-2 record and a No. 1 ranking in the East by USA Today ... Had 19 points and 14 rebounds in the Crusaders' 63-59 victory over Dr. Phillips High of Orlando, Fla., in the ESPN National High School Invitational (NHSI) championship game ... Named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and was on the NHSI All-Tournament Team ... Ranked as the No. 87 overall recruit in the country coming out of Riverdale Baptist ...
