Chris Taleghani enters his third season in 2023-24 as Director of Creative Services and Assistant Director of Operations for the ODU Men’s Basketball program.
Before joining the Monarchs, he graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a minor in marketing. During his time at Virginia Tech, Taleghani interned with the Hokies Men’s Basketball program during the 2018-2019 season as a videographer and manager.
He is responsible for creative content specific to the Monarchs Men’s Basketball team on and off the court. In addition to facilitating day-to-day operational tasks, he manages all ODU Men’s Basketball social media platforms and develops creative branding strategies for the program. In his time at ODU the men’s basketball social media has grown exponentially, and he has created a consistent branding for the program.
