2016-17: Conference USA All-Defensive Team honoree … Ended his career as ODU's No. 10 all-time leading rebounder with 928 career boards … Received the team's Mark West Best Defensive Player Award for the third time in his career … Finished the season ranked No. 15 in the country and first in the conference for offensive rebounds per game with 3.53 … His 7.5 rebounds per game led the Monarchs and ranked sixth in the C-USA … Averaged 3.8 points, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steal per contest … Blocked 17 shots … Was one of two Monarchs to start all 31 games … Hauled down a season high 16 rebounds against St. John's (Nov. 25, 2016). 

2015-16: Taylor made 36 starts and appeared in all 38 games ... He compiled 274 rebounds, which was the second-highest on the team and led the Monarchs in offensive rebounds with 153 ... For the season, Taylor averaged 7.2 rpg ... He dished out 40 assists and was third on the team for blocks with 24, while recording the team's third-highest steal total with 34. 

2014-15: Scored 12 points vs. Middle Tenn ... 10 points vs. Richmond ... Grabbed a career high tying 12 rebounds vs. UNCW, 11 rebs vs. UMES & 10 vs. W&M ... ESPN NO. 8 Dunk of the Day on 12-17 vs. GSU ... ODU's top defensive player ... Playing in all 35 games and starting nine as a sophomore, Taylor led the team in offensive rebounds with 125 and total rebounds with 209 ... He also had 37 steals, which was second-highest of any Monarch.

2013-14: Career high 14 points along with 11 rebounds vs. Richmond ... Also scored 14 at FAU ... 10 points vs. Howard ... Career high 12 rebounds vs. Murray State ... 8 rebs vs. Georgia Southern ... He and Palmore were the only Monarchs to start and play in all 36 games ... One of ODU's top defenders ... Blocked five shots vs. North Texas & 4 vs. UTSA.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Denzell was a member of the Canadian Junior Men's National Team 18U and 19U ... His St. Benedicts Prep team played on ESPN against Montrose Christian, Findlay Prep and Montverde Prep ... He averaged 12.1 points, 10.2 rebounds ... 2012-13 team was 35-3 ... As a junior, he averaged 10.6 points and led the team in rebounds at 11.4 ... His CIA Bounce team, a Toronto based AAU squad reached the Nike Elite Youth Basketball Summer League Championship in 2012.
