2016-17: Appeared in 28 games, averaging 11 minutes per outing … Averaged 3.1 points and 1.5 rebounds per game for the season … Scored a career high 14 points at Rice (Jan. 26, 2017) … Hauled down a career high seven rebounds at Rhode Island (Dec. 3, 2016). 

PREP: Haynes played high school hoops with fellow Monarch Trey Porter and the two were named the co-5A Players of the Year in Virginia in 2014 … Led Potomac High School to a 28-1 record and the state title … Averaged a team-high 17.5 points a game as a senior.

PERSONAL: After graduating from Potomac High School, Haynes attended New Mexico Junior College … The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 19 points on 46.6% shooting from the floor, 37.5% shooting from three and 72.8% shooting from the free-throw line … Also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
