WILLIAMSBURG, VA (September 18) - Loyola's Christof Lindenmayer scored in the 59th minute of play to lead the Greyhounds over Old Dominion, 1-0, today in the third game of the Nike/Tribe Soccer Classic on the campus of the College of William and Mary. The Monarchs fall to 4-2-0 on the season, while Loyola improves to 2-2-0.

Lindenmayer's goal found the back of the net at the 58:17 mark as he blasted John Farese's cross into an open Monarch net. The Monarchs were unable to score for the first time this season, though they blasted six shots, four in the second half.

The Greyhounds had seven shots, but were limited to two in the second half. Old Dominion goalkeeper Chuck Connelly (Rockville, MD), returned as the net-minder after missing Friday's game versus Radford and made one save for the Monarchs.

Old Dominion finished the Nike/Tribe Classic at 1-1-0, after posting a 1-0 victory over Radford on Friday. The Monarchs return to action on Saturday, Sept. 25, as they open their CAA season by hosting the American Eagles at 7:30 pm at the Old Dominion Soccer Stadium.
