RICHMOND, Va. (November 5, 2011) - The field is set for the 2011 Virginia 529 College Savings Plan CAA Men's Soccer Championship, which will be held November 10, 11 & 13 at JMU Soccer Complex in Harrisonburg, Va. with the ODU Soccer Monarchs getting the second seed and first round bye.
Quarterfinal action kicks off at 5 p.m. on Thursday when third-seeded William & Mary (10-8, 7-4 in CAA) takes on sixth-seeded Georgia State (12-6-1, 6-5 in CAA) followed by fourth-seeded Delaware (11-5-2, 6-4-1 in CAA) against fifth-seeded Northeastern (10-6-2, 6-4-1 in CAA) at 7:30 p.m.
In Friday's semifinals, second-seeded Old Dominion (11-4-1, 7-3-1 in CAA) meets the W&M/GSU winner at 5 p.m., followed by top-seeded James Madison (12-4-1, 8-3 in CAA) against the Delaware/Northeastern winner at 7:30 p.m.
The CAA championship game will be played at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for youth (ages 2-17). Students from participating institutions will be admitted free with a valid college ID.
