NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women's basketball team, winners of three of its last four games, welcome George Mason to the Ted Constant Center Thursday for a matchup of two of the Colonial Athletic Associations hottest teams.
The Lady Monarchs (7-5, 1-0 CAA) have been away from Norfolk for their last three games, winning two of the contests. ODU is coming off a 69-63 win Sunday at Towson in both squads CAA opener. Meanwhile, George Mason has rattled off five consecutive wins, including a dominant 71-47 win at George State on Sunday.
Thursday's contest will be the first home CAA game for ODU this season. The Lady Monarchs are 5-1 at the Ted Constant Center this year and have picked up wins over Georgia Tech and Louisville on their home floor.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN Radio 94.1 FM with play-by-play provided by Tony Mercurio and color analysis from Susan Montgomery.
Old Dominion is 46-1 all-time against George Mason and the Lady Monarchs have never lost to the Patriots in Norfolk.
