GAME NOTES

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion will look to remain perfect at home this season as the Lady Monarchs welcome BIG EAST opponent Louisville to the Ted Constant Center Friday at 7 p.m.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN Radio 94.1 FM with play-by-play from Tony Mercurio and color analysis from Susan Montgomery.

Old Dominion (2-1) is coming off its first loss of the season, 62-60, at NC State. Senior Jasmine Parker paces the team in scoring with 15.7 points per game. The Norfolk native hit for a season-high 23 points and swiped a career-high tying six steals against the Wolfpack. Classmate Alena Voronina has scored in double-figures in all three games this season.

The Lady Monarchs continue to rise in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. ODU jumped three spots this week and is currently No. 2 in the latest poll, which was released Tuesday. Green Bay, which is also ranked in the Coaches Poll, sits atop the rankings, while James Madison (No. 10) and Delaware (No. 12) also represent the CAA. ODU garnered 673 points this week and one first-place vote.

Louisville, which is two years removed from making a trip to the NCAA National Title game, enters Friday with a 3-2 record. The Cardinals two losses this season came at the hands of Top 5 opponents, Tennessee and Xavier.

UofL starts a freshman and two sophomores, but junior Monique Reid leads the team with 17.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season. Reid scored a team-high 20 points for the Cardinals at No. 5 Xavier on Tuesday.
