NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Soccer Monarchs (8-5-1/5-1)travel to UNC Wilmington for a Friday night matchat 7 p.m. The Monarchs return home to play Georgia State Sunday for a 1 p.m. match which will be the final regular season home game forseniors David Horst (Pine Grove, PA.), A.J. Kulp(Ephrata, PA), Yomby William (Bafoussam, Cameroon) and Justin Vaughter (Richmond, VA.).
ODU is currently tied with Towson for second in the CAA. Drexelleads the league at 6-0.
Junior midfielder Trevor Banks leads the Monarchs in scoring withfour goals, three assists for 11 points. He is followed by Kulpwith two goals and four assists for eight points. Goalkeeper EvanNewton has a 0.74 goals against average.
Daniel Roberts leads UNCW with three goals, four assists and tenpoints. The Seahawks are 2-10-1 overall and 1-5 in the CAA. ODU leadsthe series, 12-5. Last year, the two teams split with the Seahawksbeating ODU, 3-0 and the Monarchs beating the Seahawks in the CAAtournament, 1-0 in overtime.
Georgia State (4-8-1 /1-5) is led in scoring by Floreal Pedrazowith eight goals, four assits and 20 points. He currently leads theCAA in points and ranks second in goals. ODU is 3-0 against the Panthers.
