NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Monarchs (5-1)winners offive straight moved up in all four soccer polls.The Monarchs rank 10th in COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS,13th in the coaches NSCAA/adidas, 18th in SOCCERAMERICA and 22 in SOCCER TIMES.

ODU begins CAA play this weekend with Delaware (2-0-2) friday night at 7 p.m. and Drexel (4-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Senior Edson Elcock ranks seventh in the CAA in points with sevenwhile Gregg Mottinger is tied for fifth in the league with twoassists. Freshman keeeper Evan Newton has posted four straightshutouts ranks fourth in the CAA with a 0.82 goals against average andsixth in save percentage at .800.

Delaware is led in scoring by Sobhan Tadjalli with three goals, whileDrexel's top scorer is Fabio Assumpcao also with three goals thisseason.
