NORFOLK, Va.- The Old Dominion University basketball teams will be "prime-time" this winter with three Lady Monarch games broadcast on regional and local television.
The Lady Monarchs, winners of 14 consecutive CAA titles, will be featured in three contests, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 29 with a home showdown with Penn State.
"We are very excited about the exposure the athletic program and the University will receive this year through the broadcast of our basketball games," says athletic director Jim Jarrett. "We are pleased that our fans and alumni throughout the country will be able to have multiple opportunities to watch our teams in action."
In addition to the over-the-air broadcasts, ODU will also video-stream all regular season Monarch and Lady Monarch games from the Constant Center in conjunction with its website, www.odusports.com. To view the games, fans must purchase a monthly package that provides the audio and video broadcasts online. In addition, the monthly fee also provides access to over 150 other colleges and universities online broadcasts.
