KINSTON, RI-- Lisa Blais-Manning (ODU'85 Westbrook, ME,), a 5-10 guardwho helped lead the Lady Monarchs to the 1985 NCAA National Championshipwill be one of 40 New England basketball greats to be inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame Friday, Sept., 24 at the Ryan Centeron the campus of the University of Rhode Island.

Blais completed her career with 514 career points, 314 career assistsand played in 125 games which at the time of her graduation was sixthbest in ODU history.
As a senior, she led ODU with 158 assists as the Lady Monarchs compileda 31-3 record and defeated the University of Georgia for the 1985NCAA National Championship which was played in Austin, TX.
Blais scored a career high 16 points against Western Kentucky in 1983 andagainst Kentucky in 1985. She dished out a career high ten assists against UCLA in 1985.
Blais was a 1981 Converse High School All-American and led WestbrookHigh School to the state championship and a 70-game winning streak. Shescored over 1,500 career points and held the state javelin record as ajunior.
