Join Lady Monarch head coach Wendy Larry on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the Silver Diner on Virginia Beach Boulevard (across from Princess Anne High School) for dinner and help a great cause.
The Silver Diner will donate a percentage of profits from meals purchased from 5-8 p.m. that evening to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation - Tidewater Affiliate for breast cancer research. Coach Larry will be on hand from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. that evening to sign autographs and to assist with the sale of tickets to the Lady Monarchs TGIF on Friday, Oct. 15, sponsored by Troutman Sanders law firm at the Hilton Garden Inn at Town Center in Virginia Beach.
Tickets for the TGIF are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event and includes adult beverages, sodas, live music, a silent auction and food donated by Town Center and area restaurants, including d'Musturd, Macaroni Grill, Max and Erma's, Chick-fil-a, and Coldstone Creamery.
Proceeds from the TGIF will assist ODU women's basketball scholarships and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation - Tidewater affiliate.
