NORFOLK, VA -The #5 Old Dominion men's soccer team will travel to Baltimore, MD Saturday for a 1:00 PM match-up with the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. The Monarchs, fresh off a repeat victory at the ODU Stihl Soccer Classic, goes into the game with a 4-0-0 record. The Retrievers are 3-0-1 for the season.

ODU is 1-0-1 all-time against UMBC, defeating the Retrievers 2-0 last season at the ODU Soccer Stadium. The Monarchs previously tied UMBC 1-1 during the 1978 season.
UMBC defeated NC State 2-1 in Raleigh, NC Wednesday night. The Monarchs defeated Navy 5-1 and Rutgers 1-0 during the Stihl Soccer Classic this past weekend. Freshman Defender David Horst (Pine Grove, PA) was named Co-Rookie of the Week for his efforts during the weekend.
The Monarchs will return home on Tuesday, September 21, to host preseason #3 North Carolina at 7:00.
