NORFOLK, VA -- The Old Dominion University Athletic Department has announced that women's basketball head coach Wendy Larry has withdrawn her name as a candidate for head women's basketball position at Auburn University.
Larry, who guided the Lady Monarchs to their 13th Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title and a 25-7 record in the 2003-04 season, has been at the helm of the Old Dominion program over the last 17 seasons. In her tenure at Old Dominion she has compiled a 404-134 record and has guided her alma mater to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances. In 20 seasons as a head coach, which includes stints at Arizona and nearby Virginia Wesleyan, Larry has earned a 453-164 overall mark.
