NORFOLK, Va. -- After picking up a 30 + point win against East Tennessee State and a thrilling 69-61 victory over a ranked Rutgers squad, the Lady Monarch women's basketball team return to the Associated Press Poll.
The Lady Monarchs received 15 votes this week while future opponents North Carolina dropped to No. 5 and Tennessee to No. 9. Following the loss to Old Dominion, Rutgers fell from No. 16 to No. 20.
Other receiving votes include Georgia Tech, who defeated the Lady Monarchs in their season opener, and Penn State, who Old Dominion will take on next week.
