NORFOLK, VA - The Old Dominion men's soccer team takes a two-game winning streak on the road this weekend for a key pair of Colonial Athletic Association matches. The Monarchs face Towson Friday and Delaware Saturday. ODU is currently 7-3-1 overall and 2-2 in the CAA.

The Monarchs are 6-3 all-time against the Towson Tigers, taking the 2003 contest 3-0 at the ODU Soccer Stadium. Towson is back on track in 2004 after a one-win 2003 campaign. The Tigers enter the game with a 6-4-1 overall record and a 1-2 CAA mark. Towson is coming off a 1-0 victory over Delaware last Saturday night. Junior Goalkeeper Zak Thompson recorded his fourth shutout of the season in the game. Offensively, Towson is led by Sophomore Forward Sebastian Haensel with 13 points (four goals, five assists).
Delaware is currently 3-7-0, with a 0-3 CAA record. At home, the Blue Hens are 3-1. ODU has a 6-1 all-time edge over Delaware, taking the last six contests. In 2003, the Monarchs defeated Delaware 3-1 in Norfolk. The Blue Hens are led by Freshman forward Sobhan Tadjalli, with 18 points (eight goals, two assists). Goalkeeper Kyle Haynes has a 1.74 Goals Against Average, with one shutout.
ODU ended a three-game slide this past weekend by winning their two home contests, against Drexel and Hofstra. The Monarchs extended their home unbeaten streak to 23 games, and have won their past 17 home games.
